Information
Coldingham beach is one of the cleanest, most beautifully and one of the best-sheltered beaches on the east coast , making it an ideal choice for the family holiday or for that day at the beach.

Nearby St Abb's Head National Nature Reserve lies on a headland formed by an extinct volcano The Head is the best-known landmark along the magnificent Berwickshire coast. Home to thousands of nesting seabirds in summer, the Head also has a wealth of other wildlife and fine views along the coast. In recognition of its importance to both wildlife and people, the Head was declared a National Nature Reserve in 1983. Porpoises can quiet often be seen feeding in the bay.

Lifeguards are on duty during the summer season.

The surf here can be as good as anywhere else on the East Coast on its day. Diving is also popular, as is walking and cycling in the surrounding countryside.
